Michelle Ford is the CEO and founding partner of Lumina Wellbeing. Her experience entails bringing 6 wellness lifestyle hotels with bespoke spa journeys to the marketplace in Vietnam alone, as well as leading the operations of 15 spas in Thailand and the Maldives. Michelle’s impressive track record includes leading Fusion Maia, Asia’s first Spa-Inclusive Resort, as General Manager, which gained global recognition, significant financial returns, and numerous accolades and awards under her forward-thinking leadership. Michelle leads the team with a vision for building an embodied wellness ecosystem. With her passion for wellness as a way of life, Michelle is relentless in connecting people on a purpose to implement cohesive concepts and tenacity to bring them to life.

Michelle is a qualified Systemic Constellations Practitioner and has done professional development in innovation and design thinking. Her mindfulness practices include contemplative art and dance for movement.

From design to implementation, training, and quality control  Emilie is drawing from her past  experience as an area operations director of Lidl Supermarkets overseeing revenue of $4 million euro per month by implementing efficient and profitable systems. In her wellness roles,  she oversaw training and development of a group of 80 therapists in her former position as Director of Spa & Wellness at Fusion Maia to carry out a spa-inclusive concept and manage operations of up to 350 guests per day. Emilie Chanon directs the foundations of our wellness development to produce transformative, high-quality, authentic programs. She has also been recognized as Global Wellness Leader for 2 consecutive years by the World Spa & Wellness awards.

‍Emilie is a conscious business leader as well as a Reiki master healer and trainer. She is also a certified Family Constellations and Access Consciousness practitioner.

Florence Mussou has an extensive background in textile design and was a founding partner at Metiseko, a renowned fashion label that told the stories of Vietnam via organic cotton, natural silks, and distinctive designs. She led the growth of the retail brand to 6 stores and garnered the Sustainable Development Award by the CCIFV in 2023 for their sustainable approach. To provide a distinctive experience for each concept and project, Florence uses a special creative approach that combines design components with mindfulness and nature. In her role as creative director, Florence develops brand narratives, safeguards concepts, inspires project design partners and ignites the creative process to produce imaginative settings and encounters.

‍Florence explores her wellness through creative pursuits such as mindful textile design or other hands-on art modalities  in addition to her practices in meditation, yoga and fitness.

Trang Dinh has a strong history in investments and finance. Her professional background includes jobs in equities research at Goldman Sachs in London, private equity investment at VinaCapital and SEAF in Vietnam, corporate development, and senior management at Thien Minh Group, one of Vietnam's top travel, hospitality, and airline conglomerates.In addition to overseeing financial matters both internally and for our clients, Trang is in charge of business and corporate development. She also analyzes and advises on project due diligence, viability, financial strategy, investment, and fundijng.

‍Trang’s wellness journey includes a 200-hour yoga teacher training program and she is a practicing yogi and meditator.

Hong Nguyen oversees every part of our operations to ensure successful execution and is a masterful bridge between people and projects. He is a professional and caring facilitator who helps different teams and cultures communicate with one another throughout the project phases - from pre-opening to operations, including revenue management, training, and development. Hong has worked for premium resort chains like Anantara and Fusion Group. Additionally, he supports all owner relations,  legal and authority interactions and serves as a foundation of support for sourcing, local knowledge, and Vietnamese business practices.

‍Hong’s passion for spiritual development includes meditation and Buddhism studies. He is constantly learning about herbalism and traditional medicines for self-healing.

Nguyen Tran supervises all technical delivery aspects for projects to ensure that the creative direction and operation direction are seamlessly interwoven in all project phases. His expertise in the hospitality sector spans more than 25 years, with a strong pre-opening and procurement background.He has a strong foundation in project management and is competent in architectural design, technicals, and property equipment thanks to his prior experience in the pre-openings of 5-star hotels and resorts including Fusion Maia, Sheraton Grand, and Furama.Nguyen finds his wellness through active pursuits. He is a competitive cyclist, trains and participates in races throughout Vietnam.

Lien Ho is a skilled marketer with a background in luxury retail and hospitality. She is in charge of our unique storytelling approach in Lumina's marketing and communication efforts across all platforms. She incorporates her significant experience and expertise into developing valuable and true-to-brand messages, with her past experience in Pre-opening projects for prestigious companies and large-scale integrated resorts in Vietnam, such as The Grand Ho Tram, CHANEL, and Hoiana.  In her role, she also manages our niche network of wellness influencers,  wellness award submissions and wellness media pitches.Lien has personal meditation and mindfulness practices integrated into her daily life. She also has a passion for creating customized and natural personal care products.

Victor Wong is a seasoned strategist with extensive experience in hospitality, development, and innovation. Previously with Small Luxury Hotels, he has also held senior leadership and advisory roles guiding business growth, partnerships, and market expansion.As Strategic Advisor to Lumina, Victor supports corporate strategy, investment planning, and partnership development. A natural community builder, he brings people together around shared visions and fosters collaboration across industries.Beyond his professional work, Victor champions creative thinking and future-oriented leadership, with a passion for ventures at the intersection of hospitality, technology, and community.

Tinh is a master administrator and key in communications for all our wellness hospitality projects. She studied finance and auditing, followed by a  project secretary background with experience in projects such as Bay Capital in Hoi An. She coordinates all communications, processes, deliveries and reporting needs to support Nguyen, our Technical Service Director and Hong, our Business Development Director.Tinh is naturally calm, and her favorite wellness practice is simply to go to the beach and enjoy the fresh air.

Bich joined us as an intern after her studies in communications, and quickly proved to join full time as a passionate team member with an interest to grow in wellness as a spa project manager. She keeps all our spa projects organized, monitors progress and timelines and is actively involved in all research and development with Emilie, our Wellness Development Director and Michelle, our CEO.Bich finds her wellness in alone time and immersing in nature. She is eager to explore more and learn from her wellness work.

Thuan is the caring soul who looks after our team’s operational and wellbeing needs - whether that be office administration, daily human resources, legal or licensing tasks. In addition, she supports implementation of both spa and hospitality project teams in recruitment and training needs and supports all team leaders in any of their development needs.Thuan expresses her passion for wellness through her cooking, providing healthy and nourishing meals and surprises us with treats like her homemade corn and sesame milks.

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality and wellness field, Thien Phan has built her journey through respected international properties including Hyatt Regency in Dubai and Danang, Furama Resort Danang, Fusion Maia, and Wyndham. Over the years, she has cultivated a quiet strength in organization, coordination, and thoughtful service, bringing clarity, balance, and refinement to every environment she supports.Rooted in mindfulness and a deep appreciation for nature, Thien embraces a holistic way of living that nurtures calm and balance. These same values guide her professional life, where she works with grace, presence, and a genuine sense of harmony.
